Welcome to the mind of Amy. It’s a place of bewilderment. Confusion. Restlessness. Thankfully, Christ coats these states of mind with grace. Occasionally I will blog these muddled thoughts. It may be in the form of a short devotion, an essay, or a journal (with a scripture or two thrown in). If it happens to inspire you, it will be to my amazement.  It’s only fair to warn you that the first raw ingredient in any inspirational by-product of this blog is painful honesty. You will have to walk with me through the mud to get to the fields of fragrant flowers.  My musings will likely be a messy collision of happenings of my daily life and my faith. I am a self-professed underperforming Christian – I don’t do all of the things I should do or say all of the things I should say. It’s actually quite scary how far I veer off. But the more I ruminate on things undone, the more I realize that there are things God is more concerned about than my underperforming status. Really, His main concern is focused on the inner location from which my muddled thoughts spring forth. Knowing this spurs me on to muse.
